At the bend of a stroll, strolling through the streets of the Principality, we discover a painting by Marc Chagall in the window, a few meters from the taxiway. The wide open door and the friendly welcome reveal many other masterpieces.
The Great Hall displays on its walls paintings by contemporary and ancient artists. At the center are metal sculptures by Fernando Botero, Bruno Catalano, Arman and Fred Allard resins. The characters in Roberta Coni's large paintings appear to be in the room, while a sketch by Matisse rubs shoulders with a colorful painting by Raoul Duffy. All these artists, whose works can be admired for some at the Museum of Fine Arts in Nice, seem almost more accessible outside the museums.
It is impossible to list all the great artists exhibited that day, but the place is full of artistic treasures. The visitor who can not leave with a work (price on demand) will inevitably keep a real pleasure to have been able to admire all these masterpieces gathered by this famous family of gallerist. There are around fifteen Bartoux galleries in France and around the world, including another on the Côte d'Azur in Saint Paul de Vence.
We recommend visiting the website of the gallery and its social networks very pleasant and regularly updated.
